Our cottage in the Kawarthas has two buildings on it, one with 4 bedrooms + 1 3pc bathroom (plus a large screened-in porch and 8-person hot tub). The 2nd cabin has 2 bedrooms + 1 2pc bathroom. Both cottages together sleep 12 comfortably. The lot is 225’ deep sloping gently downward toward the lake. There is 110’ of shoreline with sandy (weed-free) bottom gradually to a 6' depth at end of 90’ dock. The lake is land-locked with no marina or towns. It is about 0.75 miles wide and four miles long, with no islands or other obstructions. We are not connected to the Trent-Severn waterway, with limited boat traffic and beautiful sunset views on the 10' x 30' deck by the water. There is good fishing on the lake. Gamefish include smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, pickerel (walleye) and muskie. A canoe and 12' aluminum with 7.5 hp motor is available for use.
